We will start off by describing what Triticale is. It is a hybrid grain that you might have heard of before if you’re a big scotch drinker. This grain is a hybrid of rye and wheat, which obviously, is a key component to any brown spirit. This Jim Beam experiment is going to give triticale a little spot on the USA map. While it could be considered rather sweet in taste, you pick up a lot of caramel, cinnamon ,maple and toasted brown sugar. Any dried fruit notes will come long after the sip has left your mouth and made its journey down your throat.
